TikTok renders an avatar at roughly a hundred pixels — a coin-sized circle that turns every detail into mush. The file behind it is usually bigger. This page asks for the largest version TikTok publishes for a public account and shows it whole, uncropped.
How large “largest” is depends on the creator, not on us. TikTok keeps a handful of fixed sizes and serves whichever ones exist for that account. If someone uploaded a small, soft photo, that is exactly what comes back — no tool can restore detail that was never uploaded. Anything advertising HD-upscaled TikTok avatars is selling you interpolation.
The image loads straight from TikTok’s own content network and is never copied onto our servers, so you are always looking at the live file. Open it in a new tab or save it from your browser the way you would any other image on the web.

Can I download a TikTok profile picture?
You can open the image and save it from your browser. The photo is the creator’s work, so treat it as a reference — not as your own avatar or as material for an advert.
Why does the picture still look soft?
TikTok stores a fixed set of avatar sizes and the largest one is capped. If the creator uploaded a low-resolution photo, that is the maximum that exists. Enlarging it further adds pixels, not detail.
Will the creator know I looked?
No. You are never asked to log in, so the request is not tied to a TikTok identity, and TikTok keeps no viewer list for profile photos.
